Kachemak Heritage Land Trust holds annual and special events to raise funds for, and awareness of, our important land conservation work. In addition to considerable staff time, putting on these events entails costs for things such as venue rentals, food, miscellaneous supplies, and advertising. Underwriting of these costs increases the net revenue that can be applied to our land conservation programs.
A corporate sponsorship of an annual or special event put on by KHLT offers a great opportunity for your business to show its support for conservation of special private lands on the Kenai Peninsula. Sponsors are recognized in advertising materials, event handouts, our newsletter, and on our website and Facebook page. Sponsorships are available at various levels.
Can your business host a benefit event for Kachemak Heritage Land Trust? Hosting a special event or donating the proceeds from a regular business activity is a great way to promote your business and let people know that you support the protection of significant conservation land on the Kenai Peninsula.
KHLT will advertise your benefit event, helping to promote your business, and you will also receive recognition in our newsletter and on our website and Facebook page. Proceeds donated by your business to KHLT are generally eligible as a charitable deduction for income tax purposes.
If you are interested in sponsoring a KHLT-organized event, or in hosting your own benefit event for KHLT, please contact the Development Coordinator.
Kachemak Heritage Land Trust is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible
to the extent allowed by law. KHLT is unable to offer specific tax or legal advice.
