Become a Member of Kachemak Heritage Land Trust
Your membership matters! Membership donations provide us with vital unrestricted funds that can be used wherever they are most needed at the time to accomplish our conservation goals.
While grants are a principal source of funding for KHLT's programs, grant restrictions generally exclude overhead costs such as payroll and utility bills. Membership donations fill those needs and other gaps in our program funding. Without these unrestricted funds we would be unable to carry out our conservation mission.
Memberships are also an indicator of community support for our mission and work. Evidence of community support is important to funders who must choose a limited number of recipients from the many applicants vying for available funds.

Employer Match Programs
It may be possible for you to double your membership donation through a corporate matching program. Take a moment to check with your employer’s human resources department to find out if your company matches its employees’ charitable donations. Some companies will also match donations from board members and even retired employees.
If you are employed by BP or another company with a charitable gift matching program, simply request their corporate matching donation form, fill it in, and send it to us along with your gift. It only takes a few minutes, and doubles your contribution to protecting important conservation land!
